Free version does exactly what it is advertised to do - The good: It found the bluetooth elm327 I had bought two years ago immediately and connected to my car’s ECU. The software immediately pulled the codes and allowed me to see the basic list of sensors. I love it when software just works exactly as described with no bugs or problems. The expected: More detailed manufacturer specific sensors and code reading need the full or ultimate version of the software.The bad: Ultimate is more expensive than it should be. I can buy a handheld code reader that gives me the sensor reading and manufacturer specific codes for the proce of the software plus the ELM327. Unless you’re in the business, and want to use the data output (reports, etc) of the software for making money, it’s too expensive, especially since the only people paying for it are Mac users. Plenty of less expensive PC based solutions around, and real service professionals will have a PC not a Mac. My bet is that if the price was dropped from $50 to $30 on the Ultimate version you’d make more money in the long run from consumers who are your real market.
Purchased “ultimate” and only received full version.. - i paid $49.99 for the ultimate version and it only unlocked the lesser “full” version…
