It was possible to get most GOG titles to run on OS X prior to today's announcement, though it required a bit of fiddling. This level of integration with OS X is well worth the cost of the games. Mac retro-gamers can certainly hand-bundle their older games and pull together an equivalent experience, but GOG has done all that for you already. Despite the name, some of the good old games GOG sells aren't really that old.
